DWCo Service Inclusions & Exclusions

This Service Inclusions & Exclusions page defines what is included and not included in Dependable Website Company ("DWCo") website packages, care plans, and hourly services. This document is incorporated by reference into DWCo’s Terms & Conditions and applies to all Clients, including Resellers and white-label partners.

1. General Inclusions (All Website Packages)

Included

  • Website design and development as defined by the selected package

  • Build on DWCo-approved platforms (Framer by default; WordPress optional)

  • Hosting and uptime monitoring during the active service term

  • Deployment to a live environment

  • Basic on-page SEO setup (page titles, meta descriptions, headings)

  • Reasonable browser and device compatibility

  • Monthly update time as defined by the package or care plan

Not Included

  • Custom software or application development

  • Advanced backend functionality or databases

  • CRM, ERP, or complex API integrations

  • Third-party software licensing fees

  • Content writing beyond light formatting

  • SEO strategy, link building, or content marketing

  • Paid advertising setup or management

  • Legal, compliance, or accessibility certification

  • Guaranteed performance, rankings, traffic, or conversions

2. Quick Site – Landing Page Package (Template-Based)

Best for: Simple, fast-launch websites for small businesses

Included

  • Brand-matched DWCo template

  • Single landing page website

  • Framer build (WordPress optional add-on)

  • Hosting, management, and uptime monitoring

  • Approximately 30 minutes of monthly updates

  • Target build timeline of approximately three (3) weeks, subject to Client responsiveness

  • One (1) week of unlimited revisions within approved scope

  • Basic AI-assisted copywriting support, including generation or refinement of headlines and short-form page copy based on Client-provided inputs

Not Included

  • Fully custom UX or UI design

  • Multi-page websites

  • Long-form copywriting or brand messaging strategy

  • Complex animations or interactions

  • E-commerce functionality

  • Membership or gated content

  • Ongoing design iterations outside the revision window

  • Rebuilds due to changes in direction after approval

3. Standard Site Package (Custom Design)

Best for: Growing brands needing flexibility and custom design

Included

  • Custom UX/UI design within defined page limits

  • Design mockups as defined by the package

  • Live design sessions (if applicable)

  • Framer build (WordPress optional)

  • Hosting and uptime monitoring

  • Monthly update time as defined by the plan

  • Revision window as defined by the package

  • Basic AI-assisted copywriting support for core pages, including headlines, section copy, and call-to-action suggestions based on Client inputs

Not Included

  • Unlimited design exploration

  • Full brand messaging frameworks or positioning strategy

  • Long-form sales copy, blogs, or SEO content

  • Brand identity development (logos, naming, brand strategy)

  • Custom illustrations unless agreed separately

  • Advanced animations or complex interactions

  • Large-scale e-commerce functionality

  • Multilingual or localization services

4. Deluxe Site Package (Premium Custom)

Best for: High-end brands requiring UX-led experiences

Included

  • Senior UX-led design process

  • Expanded design exploration within defined scope

  • Dedicated live design sessions

  • Higher page limits than Standard packages

  • Enhanced interaction design within platform capabilities

  • Extended revision window

  • Hosting, uptime monitoring, and monthly updates

  • Enhanced AI-assisted copywriting support, including structured page copy drafts, messaging refinement, and collaborative iteration based on Client feedback

Not Included

  • Bespoke software or application development

  • Fully custom backend systems

  • Human-only copywriting or brand narrative development unless contracted separately

  • AI-driven tools or recommendation engines beyond copy support

  • Enterprise-grade security audits

  • Accessibility certification or compliance audits

  • Guaranteed business or performance outcomes

5. Content Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide all final content, including text, images, videos, and downloads

  • Ensure ownership or proper licensing of all supplied materials

  • Deliver content within agreed timelines

DWCo Responsibilities

  • Implement provided content into the website

  • Perform light formatting and layout adjustments

Not Included

  • Full-service human copywriting or editorial services beyond AI-assisted support

  • Photography, videography, or asset creation

  • Stock photography or asset licensing unless explicitly agreed

6. Revisions & Approvals

Included

  • Revisions limited to the revision window and scope of the selected package

  • Revisions must relate to the approved design direction

Not Included

  • Major design changes after approval

  • Iterative redesign cycles

  • Revisions requested outside the revision window

Additional revisions may be billed separately.

7. Monthly Updates & Support Time

Included

  • Monthly support time as defined by the selected package or care plan

  • Minor content updates and adjustments

  • Text or image replacements

Not Included

  • New page creation beyond package limits

  • Redesigns or structural changes

  • Feature development or new functionality

  • Strategic consulting or planning

Unused monthly time does not roll over unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Platform & Third-Party Limitations

  • Functionality is limited by the selected platform

  • DWCo is not responsible for platform outages or downtime

  • DWCo is not responsible for feature deprecations or pricing changes

  • WordPress sites require additional management and ongoing costs

9. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

  • Setup assistance only unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Client is responsible for all third-party accounts, fees, and compliance

  • DWCo is not liable for failures or changes in third-party services

10. Hourly Services

Scope

Hourly services apply to work outside package or care plan scope, including additional design, development, updates, troubleshooting, or consulting.

Billing Rules

  • Billed in fifteen (15) minute increments

  • Minimum billing:

    • Thirty (30) minutes for active Clients or care plan Clients

    • One (1) hour for non-recurring or one-time Clients

Hour Blocks

  • DWCo may bill up to five (5) hours without pre-purchase for current Clients

  • Any estimate exceeding five (5) hours requires purchase of a ten (10) hour block in advance

  • Hour blocks must be paid in full prior to work commencing

Unused Hours

  • Unused prepaid hours remain available for future services

  • Unused hours expire eighteen (18) months from the purchase date

  • Hours are non-refundable and non-transferable

11. Out-of-Scope Work

Any work not expressly listed as included is considered out-of-scope and may require:

  • Written approval

  • Additional fees

  • Hourly billing or a separate agreement

12. Reseller & White-Label Clarifications

  • Services are provided to the Reseller, not the End Client

  • Reseller is responsible for scope communication and expectations

  • DWCo does not handle End Client billing or disputes

  • Reseller remains financially responsible for all services

13. Updates to This Document

DWCo may update this Service Inclusions & Exclusions page from time to time. Updates will be posted on DWCo’s website and incorporated into active agreements as permitted by law.
