This Service Inclusions & Exclusions page defines what is included and not included in Dependable Website Company (“DWCo”) website packages, care plans, SEO services, and hourly services.

This document is incorporated by reference into DWCo’s Terms & Conditions and applies to all Clients, including Resellers and white-label partners.

1. General Inclusions (All Website Build Packages)

Included

• Website design and development as defined by the selected package
• Build on DWCo-approved platforms (Framer by default; WordPress optional)
• Hosting and uptime monitoring during the active service term
• Deployment to a live environment
• Basic on-page SEO foundation setup (page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure)
• Reasonable browser and device compatibility
• Monthly update time as defined by the package or care plan

Not Included

• Custom software or application development
• Advanced backend functionality or databases
• CRM, ERP, or complex API integrations
• Third-party software licensing fees
• Content writing beyond light formatting or AI-assisted support
• Ongoing SEO strategy, link building, or content marketing unless Client is enrolled in an SEO service plan
• Paid advertising setup or management
• Legal, compliance, or accessibility certification
• Guaranteed performance, rankings, traffic, or conversions

2. Website Build Packages

Quick Site – Landing Page Package (Template-Based)

Best for: Simple, fast-launch websites for small businesses

Included

• Brand-matched DWCo template
• Single landing page website
• Framer build (WordPress optional add-on)
• Hosting, management, and uptime monitoring
• Approximately 30 minutes of monthly updates
• Target build timeline of approximately three (3) weeks, subject to Client responsiveness
• One (1) week of unlimited revisions within approved scope
• Basic AI-assisted copywriting support for headlines and short-form page content

Not Included

• Fully custom UX or UI design
• Multi-page websites
• Long-form copywriting or brand messaging strategy
• Complex animations or interactions
• E-commerce functionality
• Membership or gated content
• Ongoing design iterations outside the revision window
• Rebuilds due to changes in direction after approval
• Ongoing SEO services beyond basic foundation setup

Standard Site Package (Custom Design)

Best for: Growing brands needing flexibility and custom design

Included

• Custom UX/UI design within defined page limits
• Design mockups as defined by the package
• Live design sessions (if applicable)
• Framer build (WordPress optional)
• Hosting and uptime monitoring
• Monthly update time as defined by the plan
• Revision window as defined by the package
• AI-assisted copywriting support for core pages

Not Included

• Unlimited design exploration
• Full brand messaging frameworks or positioning strategy
• Long-form sales copy, blogs, or SEO content
• Brand identity development (logos, naming, brand strategy)
• Custom illustrations unless agreed separately
• Advanced animations or complex interactions
• Large-scale e-commerce functionality
• Multilingual or localization services
• Ongoing SEO strategy or backlink work unless under an SEO plan

Deluxe Site Package (Premium Custom)

Best for: High-end brands requiring UX-led experiences

Included

• Senior UX-led design process
• Expanded design exploration within defined scope
• Dedicated live design sessions
• Higher page limits than Standard packages
• Enhanced interaction design within platform capabilities
• Extended revision window
• Hosting, uptime monitoring, and monthly updates
• Enhanced AI-assisted copywriting support including structured page copy drafts and messaging refinement

Not Included

• Bespoke software or application development
• Fully custom backend systems
• Human-only copywriting or brand narrative development unless contracted separately
• Enterprise-grade security audits
• Accessibility certification or compliance audits
• Guaranteed business or performance outcomes
• SEO retainers or ranking-focused optimization unless separately contracted

3. DWCo Care Plans (Website Operations)

DWCo Care Plans provide ongoing website operations, updates, and optimization through our structured WebOps system.

All care plan work is completed through a managed task queue to ensure consistent improvements over time.

General Service Guidelines (All Care Plans)

Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround for tasks is 2–7 business days, depending on complexity and queue volume.

Task Queue System

Requests are completed one task at a time per client in the order they are received.

Rush Requests

Rush requests may be prioritized and completed faster when possible and are billed hourly.

Design System Limitation

Updates and new page creation must remain within the existing website theme, templates, and design system unless otherwise quoted as a redesign project.

AI Copywriting Assistance

DWCo may utilize AI-assisted copywriting to help generate or refine website content.

Fair Use Policy

DWCo Care Plans are designed to provide ongoing improvements within a reasonable operational scope.

While there is no strict limit on requests submitted, work is subject to a fair use policy to ensure timely service.

Requests outside the intended scope may be:

• Quoted as a separate project
• Scheduled separately
• Billed hourly

DWCo may group related requests into a single task when they affect the same page or feature.

Definition of a Task

A task is defined as a single website update or related group of updates affecting:

• One page
• One feature
• One SEO improvement

Examples include:

• Updating content on one page
• Publishing a blog post
• Fixing a single SEO issue
• Creating one page using an existing template

Core Care Plan – $150 / Month

Website Maintenance

Included

• Content updates and page edits
• Image replacements
• Link updates
• Business information updates
• Team bios and testimonials
• Blog publishing
• Gallery updates
• Video embeds
• Light AI-assisted copywriting for small edits

Not Included

• New page creation
• On-site SEO optimization
• Layout or design changes
• Website redesign
• Custom development
• Ecommerce setup
• CRM integrations
• Advanced troubleshooting

Core+ Care Plan – $300 / Month

Website Operations + On-Site SEO

Includes everything in Core, plus:

Included

• AI-powered SEO audits
• Technical SEO fixes when identified
• Metadata optimization
• Internal linking improvements
• On-page SEO improvements
• New page creation within the existing design system

Not Included

• Custom page design
• Website redesign
• Advanced SEO campaigns
• Backlink building
• SEO strategy consulting
• Ecommerce builds
• Custom development

Core Pro Care Plan – $500 / Month

Advanced Website Operations

Includes everything in Core and Core+, plus:

Included

• Expanded SEO optimization
• Content structure improvements
• Additional page development
• Ongoing technical SEO improvements
• Expanded internal linking optimization
• AI-assisted content refinement

Not Included

• Website redesign
• Custom UI/UX design
• Web applications
• Ecommerce systems
• Large content production projects
• Branding or graphic design

4. SEO Services (Separate Monthly Service)

DWCo offers Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”) services as a separate recurring service.

Included (SEO Retainers Only)

• Keyword research and targeting
• On-page optimization improvements
• Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
• Technical SEO recommendations
• Backlink strategy guidance
• Monthly reporting and monitoring

Not Included

• Guaranteed rankings or traffic increases
• Paid advertising management
• Website rebuilds or redesigns
• Unlimited content writing
• PR outreach or manual journalist placement
• SEO work on websites not accessible by DWCo

SEO results depend on competition, algorithms, and external factors beyond DWCo’s control.

5. Content Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

• Provide all final content including text, images, videos, and downloads
• Ensure ownership or licensing of all supplied materials
• Deliver materials within agreed timelines

DWCo Responsibilities

• Implement provided content
• Perform light formatting and layout adjustments

Not Included

• Full-service copywriting or editorial services beyond AI-assisted support
• Photography, videography, or asset creation
• Stock image licensing unless agreed separately

6. Revisions & Approvals

Included

• Revisions within the revision window and scope of the selected package
• Revisions related to the approved design direction

Not Included

• Major design changes after approval
• Iterative redesign cycles
• Revisions requested outside the revision window

Additional revisions may be billed separately.

7. Monthly Updates & Support Time

Included

• Monthly support time defined by the selected package or care plan
• Minor content updates
• Text or image replacements

Not Included

• New page creation beyond package limits
• Structural redesigns
• Feature development
• Strategic consulting

Unused monthly time does not roll over unless expressly stated.

8. Platform & Third-Party Limitations

• Functionality is limited by the selected platform
• DWCo is not responsible for platform outages
• DWCo is not responsible for feature deprecations or pricing changes
• WordPress sites require additional management and costs

9. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

• Setup assistance only unless otherwise agreed
• Client responsible for third-party accounts and fees
• DWCo not liable for failures or changes in third-party services

10. Hourly Services

Hourly services apply to work outside package or care plan scope.

Billing Rules

• Billed in 15 minute increments
• Minimum billing:
• 30 minutes for active Clients
• 1 hour for one-time Clients

Hour Blocks

• Up to 5 hours billed without pre-purchase for active Clients
• Work exceeding 5 hours requires prepaid 10-hour block

Unused Hours

• Valid for 18 months
• Non-refundable
• Non-transferable

11. Out-of-Scope Work

Any work not explicitly listed as included may require:

• Written approval
• Additional fees
• Hourly billing or a separate agreement

12. Reseller & White-Label Clarifications

• Services are provided to the Reseller, not the End Client
• Reseller responsible for scope communication
• DWCo does not handle End Client billing disputes
• Reseller remains financially responsible

13. Updates to This Document

DWCo may update this Service Inclusions & Exclusions page from time to time.

Updates will be published on the DWCo website and incorporated into active agreements as permitted by law.
